"Nationalfahnen zu Schwefelrosen" is a performance in which a Rose-vendor girl attempts to convince the audience to buy a rose in memory of all our jolly neoliberal heroes. The heroes, which she claims are falling in our new wars around the world that constitute our identity and freedom, are printed with their famous statements and stuck on the Rose-vendors body. Carrying the rosebuds with her she produces black roses live using a flag, a little gasoline and a lighter.
